Couples Therapy

Relationships hold the potential to bring joy into our lives. They can also be deeply complex. It is common for us all to have elements of our relationships that feel natural and aligned, and other parts that feel painful or difficult.

Couples therapy is a safe space for you and your partner, in the presence of a supportive other, to speak about the challenges you are facing. Together we can hold space for each of you to communicate what you are experiencing and what you need. With time, we can shift from ‘blame’ to expressing the authentic emotions beneath. As a qualified therapist, I can also support you to consider unconscious patterns that might be taking place.

Couples therapy is not designed to ‘fix’ relationships, but instead find ways to communicate and understand each other better. It can help you break unhelpful patterns, and give space for more meaningful relating to take place.
