FAQs

A beige armchair with a black and white striped blanket and a white pillow with a black dotted circular pattern. Next to the armchair is a wooden side table with a woven rattan panel. On the table are two stacked books and a white vase with dried flowers against a gray wall.
  • The introductory session is 50 mins and is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and for you to ask any questions that feel important. This helps us decide whether it feels like a good fit to work together.

  • Sessions can be most effective when they take place weekly, at the same time and place each week. In some circumstances, we can review this together and consider what frequency feels most supportive for you and the work we are doing.

  • Some people come to therapy for a fixed period of time to focus on a particular issue, whilst others choose to work in a more open-ended way. We can discuss what feels right for you in our introductory session and review this together as the therapy progresses.

  • I currently offer sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays in the morning, afternoon and early evening.

  • The topics listed on my site are examples rather than a complete list - if there’s another issue you’re experiencing or a topic you’d like to explore, you’re welcome to get in touch.
