Supervision

I offer one-to-one supervision to trainee psychotherapists and counsellors, and qualified counsellors.

My supervisory approach is relational, supportive, empathic, and gently challenging. It is grounded in my core framework of Relational Transactional Analysis, which can offer insight to therapists working across a range of modalities. My focus as a supervisor is in supporting you to explore your present experience of being a therapist and being with your clients. This includes both the conscious and the unconscious elements.

In supervision, we can explore how you might work relationally, consider psychodynamics, notice transference, hold boundaries, and wrestle with any ethical dilemmas arising in your work. I also have a keen interest in supporting therapists with the practicalities of setting up in private practice, including: contracting, marketing, pricing, and all the logistics that come with running a therapy business.

I am an experienced UKCP registered Psychotherapist with many years experience prior to qualifying working in various mental health and wellbeing settings. I am currently undertaking a Diploma of Supervision at the Connexus Institute in Hove, and am therefore offering supervision at low-cost for a limited time.
